Wealthyhood announces a £3 million seed round, led by Global Wealth Group as a strategic investor and joined by Genesis Ventures and a group of 20 leading angel investors from the UK, Greece, and Europe, including Dimitris Georgakopoulos and the Helidoni Group, Philippos Kourkoulos Latsis, Dimitris Tryfon and T-Life Capital, Alan Morgan, Thanasis Papangelis and Thanasis Misdanitis leading a group of angel investors.
The new funding round will fuel Wealthyhood’s expansion into the Greek and European markets, enhance its tech platform, and advance its AI capabilities to deliver an even more personalised investing experience to its user base. The company is also entering the B2B market, offering its investment platform to banks and financial institutions.
The deal also establishes a strategic partnership with Global Wealth, one of the fastest-growing groups in Southern Europe, with subsidiary asset managers serving over 3,000 institutional and private clients and assets under management exceeding £470 million.
Wealthyhood was born from a simple realisation: the financial system has failed to offer meaningful access to the vast majority of people.
