Early-career hiring platform Vizzy has raised £3.65 million in a seed round led by Adjuvo, with participation from notable angels including former Workday executive Rob Wells and former England Rugby coach Sir Clive Woodward.
Vizzy offers digital CV tools designed to give candidates a more expressive and personalised way to present themselves to employers. The product enables applicants to highlight not just their work history, but also their motivations, ambitions, and soft skills—qualities that often go unseen in traditional application processes.
Founded in 2023 by siblings Chris, Jess, and Joe Woodward-Jones, the startup was inspired by their own frustrations with the job market after one of them lost work during the pandemic. Since then, Vizzy has worked with brands such as Virgin Group, WHSmith, Burberry, PizzaExpress, and Louis Vuitton to help streamline early-career recruitment while improving access to diverse talent.
In a competitive hiring landscape dominated by high-volume applications and digital-first job seekers, Vizzy aims to support recruiters by surfacing candidates who might otherwise be overlooked. The new funding will support product development and fuel international expansion.
