VitVio, a London-based healthtech startup, has raised £1.5m in a pre-seed round led by LDV Capital with participation from Bek Ventures, Tiny Supercomputer Investment Company, and angel investors. Founded by Thomas Knox, Dr. Peter Rennert, Maks Kozarzewski, and Aleks Pajewski, VitVio is transforming operating rooms with its AI-powered platform to improve surgical efficiency, enhance patient outcomes, and reduce costs.
The funding supports VitVio’s deployment of its technology across hospitals in the US, UK, and Europe. VitVio’s platform integrates computer vision and AI to autonomously track surgical processes, optimise resource allocation, and provide real-time data to medical professionals. Partnering with The Royal Orthopaedic Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, the company aims to address inefficiencies and improve safety in surgical environments while supporting staff with non-intrusive, cutting-edge solutions.
