Reporti, a pioneering real-time incident reporting platform designed to enhance safety at live events and nightlife venues, has secured investment from the Royal College of Art’s (RCA) Design & Innovation S/EIS Fund and Infinity Asset Management LLP.
Reporti is redefining how safety is managed in crowded venues by allowing attendees to digitally report safety concerns and receive immediate, tailored feedback, without requiring app downloads or mobile service. This ensures accessibility in crowded spaces and critical emergency situations. By enabling instant reporting, Reporti empowers venues to respond faster, prevent escalation, and build trust with attendees. The platform has been developed with insights from global research into nightlife safety across Tokyo, London, and New York and is supported by InnovationRCA and The Roundhouse Business Accelerator.
While the UK live event sector generates £6 billion annually, safety concerns continue to deter many adults from attending live events and nightlife venues. A recent Night Time Industries Association study found that 43% of respondents would feel safer at night if emergency help were more accessible. High-profile safety incidents have further eroded trust between crowds and venues, highlighting the urgent need for real-time safety solutions. Reporti addresses these challenges by enabling discreet, instant, digital reporting.
With Reporti, attendees can report incidents such as medical emergencies, assaults, or suspicious behaviour without needing to physically locate staff. This is particularly beneficial for individuals with mobility challenges and bystanders, reducing unreported incidents and improving overall safety.
Beyond immediate incident management, Reporti enables data collection and analysis, helping venues strengthen safety measures and improve crisis planning in line with the upcoming Martyn’s Law in the UK and other international live event safety regulations. By combining real-time response capabilities with proactive safety planning, Reporti makes events safer, smarter, and more streamlined for both attendees and organisers.
