Relay has raised Β£28m in a Series A funding round led by Plural, with participation from Project A and Prologis Ventures. Founded in 2022 by Jonathan Jenssen and Nicole Mazza, the company is building an AI-driven logistics platform designed to modernise e-commerce delivery by decentralising the traditional hub-and-spoke model.

Its platform leverages AI to dynamically assign parcels, optimise route pricing, and reduce shipping distances by up to 95% compared to legacy delivery networks. The company works with re-commerce platforms like Vinted, social commerce businesses like TikTok, and international marketplaces including Temu.

Relay has also developed a Generative AI Courier Training Tool, which has boosted Proof-of-Delivery compliance by 82%, helping retailers reduce fraudulent claims and customer support costs. The new capital will fuel Relay’s nationwide expansion in the UK over the next two years as it scales its delivery network.
