NexGen Cloud, a UK-based leader in AI infrastructure, has raised Β£35 million in a Series A funding round at a Β£270 million valuation. Backed by high-net-worth individuals and family trusts, the investment will support global expansion and strengthen sovereign AI capabilities across Europe.
Since launching Hyperstack in 2023, NexGen Cloud has generated Β£70 million in revenue (2023β2024), fuelled by a 380% increase in AI cloud revenue and a 2,272% rise in transactions. With 90% GPU utilisation, Hyperstack delivers enterprise-grade, on-demand AI compute to over 10,000 users, including Red Hat, Ingenix.AI, Tyne, and ArchiLabs.
An early entrant in the GPU Cloud market, NexGen Cloud has built its own API to enable partners to deliver scalable, production-grade compute via Hyperstack. These partnerships span software development, clinical trials, and AI-driven design across the architecture, engineering, and construction sectors.
The Series A funding will scale infrastructure to meet rising GPU utilisation and growing AI demand across Europe. NexGen Cloud will also develop its Full Stack Cloud offering to support production-ready AI for enterprise customers.
Its strategic roadmap includes expanded infrastructure, new AI development products, and serverless inference capabilities via dedicated virtual machines to enhance privacy and data security. The company is also preparing to launch Fine-Tuning-as-a-Service to accelerate model customisation and increase efficiency in cluster management.
