Gendo, an AI platform transforming architectural visualisation, has raised Β£4.3m in a seed round co-led by PT1 and LEA Partners, with additional participation from Concept Ventures and Helm Capital. This funding follows a Β£855k pre-seed round announced in July 2024 and supports Gendo's rapid scaling as it gains traction among architects and designers globally.
Founded by George Proud and Will Jones, Gendo enables users to turn 2D sketches or text prompts into detailed visualisations within seconds, cutting production times by over 100x compared to traditional methods. Since emerging from beta, Gendo has attracted 2,500 users and facilitated 50,000 image generations across 5,000 projects, including adoption by top firms like Zaha Hadid Architects and KPF.
The investment will fuel Gendoβs growth trajectory, positioning it as a leader in bespoke generative AI tools for the architectural sector. Patrik Schumacher, principal of Zaha Hadid Architects, has joined as an advisor, emphasising the platform's potential to enhance both productivity and creative flexibility in the field.
